Each year, Quinnipiac University’s MBA Program sponsors a study trip to China. The study trip is part of an international experience course that focuses on international business and cultural experiences in China.
During the course, students take a focused look at the business relationships between the U.S. and China. The travel component of the course provides students with the opportunity to explore business in China through corporate visits and networking opportunities while also experiencing the history and culture the country has to offer.
We are excited to announce that the 2013 course will include travel to Beijing and Hong Kong. The theme for the course will be One Country, Two Systems: Conducting Business in Beijing and Hong Kong.
The travel component of the course is scheduled for May 24, 2013 through June 2, 2013. In addition to the travel component, there are online course materials and a series of on campus pre-departure meetings, and a post-trip recap. If you do not live locally, the pre-departure meeting can be handled electronically.
The travel portion of the course includes academic focused programs, company visits, and cultural experiences in Beijing and Hong Kong, China. The trip will include airfare from the US to Beijing, Beijing to Hong Kong, and Hong Kong to the US. Housing is provided in 4-star hotels with internet access and double occupancy rooms. All breakfast and lunch meals (except travel days) are included, as well as four dinners. The estimated cost of the program is $3900 plus tuition and travel insurance.
